“Further to the request completed below, I am making a new request for documents relating to this grant (Grant GA258700) since the time of my initial request (FOI/2324/052). Please provide the latest (since the last provided, 26/4/2024) required reports, NIAA report assessments and any other documents pertaining to this grant, reporting and milestone performance. Please provide any assessment / analysis by NIAA of NATSIHA’s strategic plan - this was an objective of the grant. [NATSIHA 2024-2028 Strategy] Given that the recruitment of a CEO formed part of the basis for this grant and the CEO has recently left NATSIHA, I am also seeking documents that provide information surrounding his departure and what the strategy is now for the recruitment of another CEO, I am assuming that NIAA and NATSIHA are corresponding over this issue or it forms part of reporting.” Lastly I would like any documents that shed light on why NIAA continue to fund a “peak” organisation that does not have ATSICCHO membership, endorsement or consultation when this formed the foundation of the capability funding. ATSICCHO’s from all jurisdictions are not represented because of NATSIHAs narrow and guarded membership model and NSW membership seems to be limited to ACHIA who is not a Peak body. NIAA is surely aware of NATSIHA’s membership and governance issues in relation to the sector, I anticipate there are documents that analyse the ongoing value for money and relevance of NATSIHA”
